1. Who we are (Controller)

2. What data we process

• Account data: name, email, login data — for our users (landlords, brokers).
• Publicly available personal data: company directors, shareholders, beneficial owners, contact persons — obtained from public registers and publicly available web pages.
• Usage and technical data: IP address, device data, analytics (Google Analytics — with consent only).

3. Where the data comes from

We obtain personal data about company representatives from public sources: the Enterprise Register, the State Revenue Service, the State Land Service, sanctions lists, and publicly available web pages. We compile and structure this information for business (B2B) intelligence purposes. Because we collect from public sources at scale, directly notifying every individual would involve disproportionate effort, so we provide this notice instead (GDPR Art. 14(5)(b)). Any individual can object to or request erasure of their data — see section 10.

4. Purposes and legal bases

• Providing the service to our customers — performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
• Compiling commercial intelligence about companies and their representatives — our legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Analytics cookies — your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
• Compliance with legal obligations, including AML-related screening where applicable.
• We do not make decisions about individuals based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects (GDPR Art. 22) — our scores and predictions assess companies, not individuals.

5. AML and sanctions screening

The sanctions, PEP and reputational screening feature is based on public and official lists. It is a decision-support aid and does not replace legal advice or a definitive determination.

6. Recipients and processors

We use carefully selected processors that act on our instructions: our EU hosting and infrastructure provider; AI providers that extract information from public documents (Google Gemini, Anthropic); email-verification and web-search providers used to confirm business contact details (MillionVerifier, Serper); and Google Analytics (with consent only). Our customers receive intelligence as independent controllers bound by the Kadrent Terms of Use. We do not sell personal data for advertising.

7. International transfers

Some of our processors (e.g. Google and our AI and verification providers) are based in or process data in the USA. Such transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards — European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses and, where available, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

8. Retention

We keep account data while your account is active and for up to 12 months after closure. Data from public registers is kept current — refreshed from the source rather than archived — and removed on a valid request or when it is no longer needed for our purpose. Technical logs are kept for up to 12 months.

9. Your rights

• Access, rectify and erase your data.
• Restrict processing and object to processing based on legitimate interests.
• Data portability, where applicable.
• Lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority — the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia (Datu valsts inspekcija, Elijas iela 17, Riga, LV-1050, pasts@dvi.gov.lv).

10. Exercising your rights

To exercise any of your rights — including objection or erasure — email didzis@rentful.eu with your name and, if known, the company you are connected to, so we can locate your data. We respond within one month.

Analytics cookies load only with consent. You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the page footer.
